China's 2018 national marathon swimming championships took place in the Qingjiang River in central China's Hubei Province on Wednesday.
A total of 11 teams composed of 81 candidates from 11 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country as well as the People's Liberation Army (PLA) came to the Changyang Tujia Autonomous County to participate in the championships.
The championships had a 10-kilometer course and a one-day schedule, with both men's and women's groups.
As it took place in the Qingjiang River, spectators were cheering for the candidates on the shore.
