The question of visa liberalization is of critical importance for almost all Georgians. If the European Union passes it, as most expect, in 2017, it could transform the lives of many people. From students, who want to travel to Europe to study, to professional musicians who want to perform in Europe, to businessmen, who need to travel. There are fears in Georgia that procrastination on the issue will play into the hands of Russia. But now a decision seems imminent.
